Black seabream
SPONDYLIOSOMA CANTHARUS
Shape: It has a very compact body of bluish grey color on the back and hazel grey on the side with a dozen yellowish, broken, lengthwise stripes in the younger fish, and hazel stripes in the older fish, but when they die the stripes turn to a dark hazel color. The tail fin has a black line. The dorsal fin contains eleven hard bones. The jaw contains teeth of equal size, relatively small, sharp, and curved.

Fishing areas: It lives in the Atlantic ocean (from the British Isles to southern of Argentina)and the Cantabrian Sea.
Length: 20-50cm.
