Shape: The bullet tuna is a fish with a robust, long, round body and short nose.

Fat content: 5%-12%

Fishing areas: The bullet tuna is found in tropical and subtropical zones of the Atlantic ocean including the Mediterranean, Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. The latitude where it is found in the Atlantic ranges from 45ºN to 33ºS.

Color: The dorsal area is blue with silver sides and belly.

Length and weight: It can reach 50 cm and weigh around 1,5kg.
