ALOSA FALLAX

Shape: Compact and slightly elongated body.

Minimum size: 20 cm

Fat content: 4%-10%

Fishing areas: It is found in many areas in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, as well as in the sandy and rocky depths.

Color: The belly and dorsal area are greyish and greenish- yellow.

Length and weight: The normal size is 25cm although the males can reach 45cm total length.
